About the event

Join  the Ozark Zymurgists as we team up with the Beaver Watershed Alliance  to remove invasive species of plants around Lake Atalanta!

OZ  is a non-profit 501(c)(7) homebrew club dedicated to furthering craft  beer and serving our community. We participate in many homebrew festival  charity events throughout the year.

This  year we have decided to take things up a notch by adding two community  service days to our calendar. We will be hosting one in the Spring and  one in the Fall.

Many  of you may remember the Beaver Lake S'more Stout that we brewed with  New Province Brewing Company. That tasty beer helped OZ raise $1,000  dollars to help the Beaver Watershed Alliance keep the Beaver Watershed  clean!

For  this Spring community service project we wanted to again team up with  the BWA to help remove invasive species of plants from Lake Atalanta.

This  project is open to anyone who would like to join us. You do not have to  be a member of our non-profit to participate. The more the merrier!!!

We will meet at the Clark Pavilion at 800 E Walnut Street, Rogers. Please wear closed toe shoes, pants, and long sleeves. Tools, water, and gloves will be provided. Feel free to bring your own water bottle and gloves if you prefer.
