Our Mission

Ozark Zymurgists: Not Just a Homebrew Club

Simply put, zymurgy is the study or practice of fermentation in brewing, wine-making, or distilling. Here at Ozark Zymurgists, we are interested in all things zymurgy! We are committed to providing education to enhance the art, science, and craft of making beers, ciders, and wines at home.

As a 501(c)(7) not-for-profit organization, we use our craft to benefit other charitable organizations in the area through homebrew competitions and festivals. If you would like to aid us in our cause, please feel free to donate using the link below.

OZ meetings consist of education, brewer feedback, event planning, and fellowship! Each meeting we vote on a Brewer of the Month with the top three finishers receiving points that accumulate to the grand prize, Brewer of the Year!!! We also compete quarterly against another regional club in an Iron Brewer style competition where everyone brews the same style of beer. Talk about ultimate bragging rights!

The Ozark Zymurgists are located in Rogers, Arkansas, nestled in the majestic Ozark Mountain Region. We have a regular meeting on the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm. Check our Events Calendar page for meeting location. If you are interested in joining us or learning more, please use the contact form or find us on Facebook and Discord!
